Tools such as Topaz Video and iZotope RX can assist with suitable footage enhancement, audio cleanup, dialogue enhancement, and reduction or removal of hum, clicks, or unwanted noise where technically possible.

Results depend on the quality and condition of the original material. Severely damaged video or audio cannot always be perfectly restored.

USB flash-drive delivery may also be available as a paid physical-delivery option. Transfer instructions and any physical-delivery arrangements are confirmed for your project.

Blu-ray & DVD Authoring

Write & Done has extensive hands-on experience creating Blu-ray discs. Specialty work can include Blu-ray and DVD authoring, disc-compatible video preparation, menus, chapters where appropriate, disc creation, and additional physical copies where offered.

Digital MP4 delivery is generally the modern standard. Blu-ray/DVD remains an optional specialty service for clients who want physical discs, with the disc format and playback needs agreed in advance.

How to Send Us Your Footage

Video files are normally too large to send by email. After a project is booked or approved, Write & Done will provide instructions for transferring the project files. Please discuss the project before sending a large collection.

Depending on the project, gather your original video footage, photos, audio recordings, logos, graphics, music you have permission to use, voiceovers, documents or scripts, and other relevant project materials.

A secure file-transfer/download workflow will be used for appropriate digital projects. For exceptionally large collections, USB drives or external drives may be arranged. Keep your original files and backups; transfer arrangements will be agreed before you send materials.

Custom Video Projects

Some projects cannot reasonably be priced as a simple fixed package. Many hours of raw footage, complicated footage organization, large family archives, unusual source formats, advanced restoration, significant damaged-footage repair, or extensive audio restoration need an individual assessment.

Advanced motion graphics or visual effects, multiple finished versions or platform formats, extensive revisions, and complex Blu-ray/DVD projects also require an agreed scope.

Video editing packages and pricing are being added separately. Custom projects may require an individual quote.
