How a project is intended to work
An anticipated process for when services open—not an invitation to submit a project today.
- Choose a starting point. Compare the service scope with your goal.
- Describe the project. Prepare the audience, requirements, source materials, and intended use.
- Discuss the scope. Clarify expectations, boundaries, and the proposed work before committing.
- Review next steps. Confirm the project details, including price, timing, and delivery format, before work begins.
- Receive the agreed work. Delivery would follow the scope agreed for that project when services become available.
Choosing a service
Where should I start?
Use the two-question service finder for up to three suggestions, or browse the eight categories. Each detail page describes the intended audience, scope, and materials.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Basic proofreading focuses on surface errors in a near-final draft. Copyediting addresses wording and consistency; developmental editing looks at larger structure. Compare the individual scopes before choosing.
Preparing your project
What materials would be useful?
Make a private list of your goal, audience, intended use, source material, and any constraints. Each service page identifies relevant inputs. Do not send files through this offline preview.
Should I provide a complete draft?
That depends on the service. Editing generally begins with your draft; writing services may begin with your facts and notes. Check the “What you provide” section for the specific service.
Privacy and confidentiality
Can I send confidential documents here?
No. This preview does not accept inquiries, uploads, or project materials. Please do not enter confidential or identifying information in the request preview.
What confidentiality arrangements will apply?
Confidentiality and document-handling arrangements are not yet finalized. Please do not share sensitive materials through this preview.
AI assistance and review
Will work be human-only or AI-assisted?
The use of AI tools and human review has not yet been finalized. The process for your project will need to be clarified before work begins.
Can I specify requirements about tools or review?
Prepare those requirements for a future scope discussion. Whether they can be met would need to be confirmed before proceeding; no request is accepted here.
Formats and deliverables
Which file formats will I receive?
The service page describes the intended output. Exact file formats and project deliverables would be confirmed in the agreed scope, rather than assumed from a category name.
Are prices, turnaround times, or revisions guaranteed here?
No. This preview does not establish project pricing, turnaround commitments, revision allowances, or refund terms. Those details require review before launch and agreement before work.
Availability
Can I book or order now?
No. Write & Done remains pre-launch, with no announced opening date. Checkout, bookings, inquiries, and uploads are inactive.
Does the service finder send my answers anywhere?
No. The finder and search run locally in your browser without external APIs or accounts. They ask about project type, not personal details.
Planning your request
How do I describe my project?
Choose one of our 56 writing, editing, career, formatting, or creative services. Explain your audience, goal, scope, and preferred deadline. If you are unsure, use the service finder. The Contact page lets you practice with fictional details; nothing is submitted.
When and how will I receive my work?
Timing, file format, and delivery arrangements will be discussed for the specific project before work is agreed. A preferred deadline is not a guarantee. Services remain pre-launch.
Can I use a gift certificate?
Indicate your certificate in the service request preview. After launch, the business must verify the code and balance privately before applying value. Remaining value can be used toward future eligible services, with no expiry or inactivity fees. Proposed terms remain subject to legal review.
Where can I ask questions?
The public support contact is support@writeanddone.com. This offline preview does not send messages or accept live requests.
